We had quite the weekend in Stratford.
On Friday morning we loaded up two vehicles. Each was filled to the roof with lots of product, and racking. Then we hit the road.
Less than two hours later, we arrived at the Scrap & Crop Retreat and started out set-up. It’s always so much fun to watch a corner of a room or hall being transformed into a store.
There were 60 women in attendance. Picture it! 60 women, laughing, yakking and scrapping the whole weekend away!
We want to send out a big congratulations to Janice Dekoning for winning the big prize this weekend – a Cameo Silhouette. I’m sure she’s getting acquainted with it as we speak.
It was a fun weekend filled with lots of creativity. We want to send out a big thanks to Alicia Peters-Smith for asking us to be a part of her retreats.
We’re looking forward to the next Scrap & Crop Retreat at the end of October.
This cute little box card was made by forum member ‘jennybird’. She used her Silhouette to cut the box card and a few of the decorative shapes for some sweet details. This card is so fun and can be mad for any occasion.
Thank you for sharing your cute card with us ‘jennybird’.
Welcome back bloggers,
Today we’re sharing more from Fleur’s April projects.
The October Afternoon Daily Flash is perfect for pocket page layouts. I finished some of my PL album using them. A few kids in my son’s classes call him Einstein so we found him the perfect shirt at Target.
I love the quote goes so well with this photo (NOT LOL)

I liked the grid design of my first layout so much I used what I had left of my kit and did another one.
We don’t know about you but we are excited to make a few projects with Fleur’s simple grid design. We hope you give one a try too 😉 Simple, quick & easy.
I loved the collections I used this month – I used a mix of the October Afternoon Daily Flash and the Echo Park All about a Boy collections with some other cute embellishments thrown in.For the first layout I used the October Afternoon flash cards and created a grid based design.
My 2nd layout for this month has the Echo Park About A Boy collection and the OA Daily Flash collection. I loved the speech bubbles and new they would be perfect for this photo of my youngest son’s first dance.
We hope you are inspired by Fleur’s fun layouts. Come back tomorrow to see more inspiring projects from her April reveal.
Hello there bloggers,
I have to start with an apology to you our blog readers. Sorry.
Our blog has been neglected and we haven’t been posting on a regular schedule. My family is still mourning the loss of my mother Sharon Atkinson. Thank you to everyone sending prayers and kind thoughts our way. It’s really helping us though this difficult time. Big virtual hugs to you. As I get back into the swing of day to day life this blog will become more active again.
Let start April off with some design team creations. It might not seem like Spring yet, well it doesn’t here in Southern Ontario. We still have large snowbanks where I am. If you are enjoying warmer temperatures and can see your grass already, DT member Michelle’s layouts this month will help all of us embrace a little more of that Spring feeling. Budding flowers, warmer colours and these lovely layouts. Enjoy!
Happy Spring and happy crafting!!
