Sunday Card Share

Good morning & happy Sunday! We have something new in store for you today, not new products (this time) but a new series of posts here on the blog.  Sunday Card Share will be posts for you and for me. I have ulterior motives you see 😉  (hey that rhymes)

I love to make cards and use my stash of stamps, but sometimes I don’t always make time for it in my schedule. So I thought Sunday Card Share would get me making some cards & get you sharing your cards here with me. That’s right, I want to see the cards you’re making too 😀
There is no set challenge or rules. Simply share a card(s) you are making.

Each week we will feature one or more cards (depending on # of link-ups)
Share your new or older cards using the link up below.

Here are my first cards for the Sunday Card Share

Spring Has Sprung – Day 5

Welcome to another day of inspiration with our great Design Team. Today, Joy is sharing some gorgeous Spring cards:

“The colour palette in the Craft Market collection my inspiration behind these cards & although there are pops of navy I think these are still pretty for Spring.
I used more chipboard, stencils, sentiment stamps, craft market papers & moulding paste for these cards.”

“I love to work with kraft cardstock Smile and the Craft Market collection is a new favourite of mine. I got out some doilies, chipboard stickers, paper strip leftovers from the craft market 6×6 paper pad, a few stamps & a Heidi Swapp Polaroid stencil.”

What about you? What Spring projects are you creating this year? We’d love to see them. Share them with us here, on our Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram, or in our forum.

Spring has Sprung – Day 4

I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but today it really looks like a spring day outside.  It’s pouring rain, with puddles everywhere. It’s a perfect day to stay inside and get some crafting projects done.

Today, Barb is sharing with us a Spring layout,

The paper is Heidi Swapp Spetember Skies. The sunburst paper is Pink Paislee.
The embellishments are random – some Jillibean, Simple Stories and Pink Paislee.

What about you? What Spring projects are you working on?

Spring Has Sprung Day 2

Kim is up today to share her Spring inspiration with us:

Here’s a quick little project that I hope inspires you…
I used a photo frame from the dollar store and just embellished it!!Easy Peasey!
I stamped onto vellum and overlaid the diecuts in the background to soften the look but you could just as easily add a photo.

Makes a great gift…or a great spring accent for your desk!
Be sure to give it a try and link your eyecandy back here to share with the rest of us!
WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Happy scrapping!!

Spring Has Sprung

Welcome to the Scrpabook Nerd daily inspiration – Spring has Sprung.  Each day for the next week, the Design Team will be sharing their spring projects with you to help inspire your next project.

Fleur is up first with her beautiful bouquet of paper flowers to brighten her desk.

She didn’t stop there, she also used these adorable flowers to make magnets for her fridge.

Lastly, she added some of the paper flowers to a card to help brighten someone else’s day.

What about you? What are you making to welcome Spring? We would love to see it.  Share it here, or in our forums!

Be sure to check out our forums every day to see what else our very creative Design Team is sharing.

Hi all, Fleur with you today to show you how to make a super cute and quick mini album using chipboard frames.  Here is the finished album.

Apr5

To make this album I used my Iphone photos and printed them at about 4×4 size then trimmed them to fit into the frames.

Captured Mini1

I kept it pretty simple just adding a few embellishments to the frames like this flair button.

Captured Mini2

I also added some journalling cards and chipboard stickers – it is all Crate Paper products.

Captured Mini3

You could really add anything you wanted to the frames, here I added a sticker and on the next frame a tag.

Do you see the little black enamel dots on my last layout, the one with my fav jeans…well those were made with glossy accents and black nail polish! So easy to make, I had created some dots with the accents a few days ago, and wanted some black enamel dots so grabbed my polish and there you go!
