Nathalie is showing us how she has used this file in this gorgeous project that she created.
She combined the cut file with the new Faith Illustrated collection, “Gratitude Documented” to highlight a picture of some of her family during an Autumn walk.
She even shared a quick process video on how this page came together, as follows:
For all you card makers out there, Joy has also used the same cut file for a few cards below.
We hope you enjoy this cut file. Be sure to share your finished projects with us on our social media pages, by tagging the store (@scrapbooknerdca), and using the hashtag #scrapbooknerdca. We would love to see what you do with the cut file.
Hey there nerds!
As I sit here writing this blog post it was anything but fall-like outside here today, temperatures were in the 30’s in Ontario. Hot enough to kick on the A/C unit at my house and extend flipflop season a little longer.
Today’s art journal page is all about my mum. Fall was definitely her season and even though the temperature is abnormally high, we still have leaves changing colour and falling to the ground. I hope you enjoy today’s video and I hope you get inspired.
The pages in the Vicki Boutin Junque Journal can be mixed up together depending on the inserts you purchase. I like mixing some of that kraft papers randomly into my journal.
I found it a bit challenging to work with the folded page on the left, but I think I got it worked out. I had to keep reminding myself that the page did not have to match the page on the front.
In the end, I think the page came together when I added the Umber paint using a circle stencil and paint splatter. Before that point to my eye, it just didn’t look right.
If you have any questions please let me know in your comment.
Thank you for stopping by the SN blog today.
Fall is definately here! Nevada (my dog and walking partner) and I have been out exploring the beautiful colours of the changing season. She loves the cooler weather and when possible I let her off leash to run and roll in the leaves. My projects this past week were created using the Simple Stories – Gather Together Collection a rich assortment of fall coloured papers, patterns, and embellishments.
