Christmas Countdown Day 13: December Daily
Countdown to Christmas December Daily December Daily process Design Team projects Inspiration mini album
This year will be my third year doing the December Daily project. I really enjoy looking back at previous years and seeing the different traditions and events from year to year, and how my boys are growing. I find that it also helps to ground me in being present and slowing down enough to enjoy the season as December busy-ness descends.
For those who are not familiar with this project, it typically involves telling one story through photos and journaling for each day of December (either until the 25th or 31st). Here are some reflections from my 2015 album, and some of the things I liked most about my album.

Intentions:
- Full sized photos: I use a 6×8 album, and I really like the look of 6×8 photos.
- Out of pocket: though most of the album is in pockets, I really like breaking it up with back to back photos or cards outside of pockets.
- Use the packaging: It is fun to use packaging, wrapping paper, etc.
-
Blessings and Joys: On Day 10, I wrote ten blessings in my life on tags, and then created a pocket in which to house them. Then, on Day 15, I asked both of my children to write a list of things that bring them joy. I love having something in their writing (besides their Santa letters).
I would love to hear from any of you who are doing a December project. Feel free to ask me any questions about my process.
Happy Crafting!
