Hey there Scrappy Nerds, it’s Gisele again with you today to bring you our creative team’s projects. We have been busy so let’s begin shall we.
Let’s see what Mari has been up to. She has created this layout starting with some Bazzil Marshmallow card stock (12×12), the “Wallpaper” stencil from Dina Wakley and some Distress Oxide Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Fossilize Amber, and Tattered Rose. She added some layers behind her photo with some ephemera and patterned paper from the “Flourish” collection (Crate Paper). All of the other details/embellishments are also from the “Flourish” collection. A Carabelle mixed media stamp and some Archival Ink in Potting Soil was added to the background as well.
And some close-ups, you can see the subtle stamping here.
Don’t you love the added stitching?
The addition of ephemera and the gold accents highlight her page wonderfully.
Next up is our talented mix media team member Nathalie. Nathalie created this page all about the struggle of photographing teenagers !!! She used a cut file from the Cut Shoppe, and backed all the stars with papers from Pinkfresh Studio “The Case of the Blahs” collection. She added a bit of Vicki Boutin art crayon to the background before gluing the cut out to it, and then embellish the layout with pieces from the same collection and a few from the Mix 2, too!
Loving the cut file, how she backed the stars.
Her title using different fonts and alphas.
And the whole LO itself, so beautiful.
Our talented sketch member Milena gives us this sketch, this one is a multi photo one:
This is what she created with the sketch in mind. This page was created using Escape the Ordinary by Pinkfresh Studio.
And a close-up of that gorgeous butterfly and her layers.
Lastly I made a Canada card since it’s Canada Day on Monday, July 1st. I am in love with the critters in the stamp and die cut set. I used “O Canada” collection by Photoplay. I used the papers, stamps as well as their die cuts. I added a little whimsy to the beaver our national animal by giving him a red tie for the occasion, LOL. I used a punch in my stash to create the tag and added some pompoms to add to the festivities. Some enamel dots, glitter tape from my stash and a flair from the collection finishes this card.
That flair is so Canadian and beautiful.
Could not decide on speech bubbles so I used 2.
Don’t you like my beaver wearing a red tie?? he is so cute!
I also did an unboxing video for you this week of a huge haul. So many beautiful scrappy supplies. You can see it here: https://youtu.be/Ewa6kWjcvxg
