Easy Watercolor background with Fleur
cardmaking distress ink general how to tutorial Nerd Academy Tips & Tutorials watercolour
Hi all, today I am going to show you how to make a super easy watercolor background for your cards or layouts. For this project you will need Distress inks, water, cardstock and a sheet of plastic.
First take the Distress Inks and press them onto the plastic.
Add some water as much or as little as you want. The more water the lighter the color will be.
Take a piece of cardstock and turn it over on top of the distress ink and move it around.
Voila a water color background – this first one I didn’t add a lot of water for this second one I will show you what it looks like with more water.
See how much lighter the background paper is?
Then decorate as you like. I used the Dear Lizzy Fine and Dandy collection for these cards.
