Step by Step paper crafting tutorials
This week I am working with the My Mind’s Eye – Happy Camper Collection Papers and Embellishments and continuing with my Gelato obsession . For this layout I decided to try a more subtle background, more of a water-colour look so I could later add word stamps. Supplies needed : Gelatos, stamps, water mister, paper towels, cardstock, and a craft sheet.
Start by colouring with the Gelatos directly on the stamp, be generous , use a light mist sprayed directly on the coloured stamp and place on your cardstock.
Continue coloring , misting and stamping , until you are pleased with the outcome. You may want to clean your stamps between colours as they tend to mix if using more than one at a time, or just continue layering your colours on.
I was looking for subtle shades and colours, so I used colours that would suit that as well as a bit more water spray, for brighter more vibrant colours pick those shades , and use less water spray.
I then arranged my papers and picture , and added the word stamps etc to finish my layout.
