Step by Step paper crafting tutorials

Hi all, Fleur here with you today using a fun Christmas stamp I got from the Scrapbook Nerd store in 3 different ways.  As soon as my son saw the Kelly Purkey Yeti stamp he said we have to get it for this years Christmas cards and who am I to let the boy down lol.  I also made a quick video on how I made these cards you can see it here https://youtu.be/BDjmHkOj_nQ .

First gather all your supplies, I used patterned paper, stamps, glitter, sequins, scissors, plastic pockets and more.

For my first card I wanted to make a giant shaker pocket as the actual card. I stamped the Yeti image in black ink on white cardstock.

I used the watercolors to color him in, he is the one on the left.

I added sequins, glitter, mini pom poms and snowflakes to my 4X6 Becky Higgins pocket.

SNNT4

I then sealed the pocket with my Fuse tool.

Then I stamped the sentiment on cardstock cut it out and added them both to the pocket. I love the way it turned out! He’s so cute.

My second card idea is creating a fun scene with paper and stamps. I love doing this and almost all my Christmas cards use this technique.  First find some stamps or paper that you can cut out to make a winter/Christmas scene.  This time I colored in the Yeti with the Cracked Pistachio distress ink.

SNNT8

Then I stamped the tree that comes in the stamp set on green paper and cut them out leaving a little green around the stamped image.

SNNT9

Then I added them to the tree paper to make it lool like he is in a forest.

SNNT10

I added some sequins for snow too.

My last idea for this stamp was to make a tag, I decided this time to cut the Yeti from patterned paper and paper piece him. I cut him from beige and also green then cut out the green to use just on his tummy and eyes.

SNNT14

I covered the tag with patterned paper and then added him on with another sentiment and some chipboard stickers that coordinated with the paper.

I had so much fun playing with this cute little Yeti!  Have you started your Christmas Cards yet?
