Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a fun tutorial on making a paper pumpkin. I saw this idea on Pinterest and I just had to try it out. It was pretty easy to make and turned out super cute!
The first thing you need to do is to cut out strips of paper with cardstock (orange or black). I cut them out 1/2 inch wide by 6 inches. Then cut out some in pattern paper 1/2 inch wide by 7 inches. You will need about 14-15 strips of each.
Next punch out a hole in each end with a hole punch.
Then attach them all together with the cardstock on top using a brad. Then attach the cardstock with another brad and the same with the pattern paper. Any brad will do (you won’t see the brad when you’re done).
Now you can open up the cardstock to create a pumpkin look. This is the inside of the pumpkin.
Now do the same with the pattern paper.
For the stem you just need a small piece of paper or cardstock.
I also cut out some leaves using the free cut file in the store.
For the stem I rolled the paper and glued it on top to hide the brad. I attached the leaves with some twine.
And here is the completed pumpkin!
