Simple Stories So Rad
Card Making Design Team projects general Inspiration layouts Scrapbooking
Hello, everyone. Barb here.
I have had a fun time this month playing with the Simple Stories So Rad collection. It’s hard to find good boy collections in the paper crafting industry, but Simple Stories hit it out of the park with this one. It’s a great mix of colours and graphics that is great for boys of all ages.
Project 1 – Anytime Anywhere
As soon as I saw all the gaming icons in this collection, I knew it would be perfect for my guys.! I got a big kick out of the old-school icons too.
Project 2 – Text Me!
Along with all the old-school icons, are current images. I had this photo of my son on his phone while we were on vacation. Funny thing I that he didn’t even bother to look up when I was taking pictures. Isn’t that quote fantastic??
Project 3 – You Must Be Dreaming
I had this photo of my son. He had fallen asleep in the car, on our way home from purchasing a new set of headphones. I had to take a picture of it. It’s been sitting on my phone for a while, so when I saw the headphone images in this collection, I knew just what I was going too do with it!
Cards
After finishing these three layouts, I decided to make some cards with all the left overs. The first card was seen in the Tutorial posted earlier this week – making a shaker using the WRM Fuse Tool.
I love how quick a card can come together by using the journaling cards!
Thanks for visiting the blog today. I hope you’ve been inspired by this collection, as I was.
