Hello All!
I love tags! I really, really love tags – all shapes, sizes and colours. And therefore, I have more tags than I need, and wanted to focus on using some on my layout (I typically use them on cards, or sometimes stuck behind papers on a layout).
I am using Maggie Holmes “Bloom” collection on this layout, which perfectly complements this photo of my husband and his Mom on Mother’s Day.
I started the layout by cutting a 1/2″ off two sides of the pink PP and adhering it on the black cardstock for framing. I then took a 4″ wide piece of gold star vellum and attached it with my tiny attacher to the bottom of the pink paper. I backed the photo on a lovely sheet of green and black floral and rounded the top corners.
Then I worked on creating the tags using lovely papers and embellishments from the collection, varying them for colour, shape and placement on the tags.
Next, I worked on the title, using three different products.
Lastly, I added ribbon to the tops of the tags, and used my Heidi Swapp roller date stamp to get the date on to the bottom of one of the tags.
I invite you to watch my (first-ever) process video about this layout here:
Thanks for watching!
Paige
