Welcome back to another Scrapbook Nerd Academy, today I am sharing the texture tools from Ranger. We have a short video for you today showing what the tools do and a canvas project that use the texture tools.

These tools are quite easy to use and work well with different mediums, thicker pastes are better because they hold their form once applied to your project. I created the background with moulding paste and several of the texture tools. I used acrylic paint, stamping inks and Dylusions spray ink to add colour to the background & flowers.
Although I did not use stencils on this canvas, I can see the texture tools being very useful working in conjunction with stencils that have a large open area. While the stencil remains in place after adding some paste use the tools to texturize the open area then remove your stencil.
