Creative Team Weekly Digest

Hello my crafty friends! I’m back to share with you all the fantastic projects the Creative Team has been creating for you.

First up is Mari with this gorgeous 12×12 layout.  I love the stitching coming in from each corner. It really draws your eye in toward the photo.

Mari has used the Crate Paper Good Vibes collection to create this layout. The base of the layout is white card stock. Mari did some gold stitching with her sewing machine from corner to corner to create a focal point for the layout. She then applied some Ranger Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio in the center of the paper. Some drops of water were added to the inked area to create a water droplet effect. The photo layers were created using the 6×6 paper pad and a pom pom chipboard frame. Bits of paper, stickers, enamel dots and embellishments were used from the collection to finish up the layout.

Next we have Nathalie’s page. I love the layering of the flowers on this page. Fussy cutting can be time consuming but the final result is definitely worth it.

Nathalie created this page using Jillibean’s Farmhouse Stew collection. She wanted to use the flower motif of the collection, so there was a lot of fussy cutting. The direction of the title complements the flower explosion of the page that is all about her little cousins in Ecuador!

Gisele’s page captures her busy in the kitchen! The snowflake right next to the photo is a beautiful complement to the theme of the page and really grabs your attention.

Gisele used the Simple Stories Very Merry collection. The page also includes some Simple Stories enamel dots, a snowflake fussy cut from the papers, Crystal Nuvo drops in white blizzard over the wood veneer snowflake, words, stickers and chipboard from the collection, deer and twine unknown, alphas are Jillibean and the date stamp is by Shimelle.

And I brought you 2 pages and a sketch designed to demonstrate how easy it is to get more photos on a page using a collage app with a single photo sketch if you need to fit more on a page.

For this page I used the Echo Park Cat Mini Theme Collection, wood veneer by Jillibean and some Thickers.

This page came together easily with the Mad 4 Plaid collection kit and ephemera die cuts by Photo Play and some Thickers.
