DISNEY MINI TUTORIAL …

general Inspiration Nerd Academy Tips & Tutorials

Hey nerd friends, Gisele here with a tutorial on Disney autograph books I made earlier this fall for my 2 grandnieces.  I used the Say Cheese collection(stickers and papers) by Simple Stories from the store.

First was designing a cover for my mini; this picture shows the plastic I put over the album to protect it.

Here it is with the plastic cover opened and you can also see I used some polka dotted washi from my stash to go around the covers and on the pages too. The red cover is made from an old file folder.

I used some odds and ends of Project Life cards. These cards were affixed to some recipe card dividers that had a tab.

Used my We are Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile and some opened type hoops to attach all the pages together.

I also used several ribbons from my stash to embellish the album.

A friend lent me a Mickey Mouse punch so I used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher and stapled them to the tabs of the cards; one on each side. I stapled them as I did not want them to come apart.

The following are a few pages from the mini. As you can tell, I united all the pages by punching stars to add cohesiveness.

This is last page and I added a library type pouch(also from my stash) from Simple Stories in case the girls wanted to add some memorabilia in their mini.

This is the back of the album.

Finished album: the castle is a cut file from the Silhouette store.

I hope you were inspired by my mini autograph books. Incidentally, I made 2 of them at the same time. They are not identical but using the same materials. Even though it was time consuming I had lots of fun making these souvenir autograph books for the girls.
