Hello there!
I hope you all have enjoyed a LOVE filled week. This month i was lucky to have different collections to play with, but i think that overall the theme for this month’s reveal was love and simplicity. So let me give you a quick run-through all the projects:
- XOXO
The page is all about the special bond my two youngest children have for each other. The project was created using Simple Stories’s “Love and Adore ” collection, a bit of hand stitching, and watercolor.
- LOVE 16 – Tutorial on creating Paper Rosettes.
This month’s tutorial was all about showing you a way to create paper rosettes that could be used in your projects. My choice of project is a layout about my husband and I on the day of our 16th wedding anniversary. To highlight the Love theme in this project, I chose to work with Simple Storie’s “Love and Adore” collection, and Crate Paper’s “Heart Day” collection.
- LOVE YOUR SELFIE
I am fascinated with taking selfies whenever i can get my hands on my nephew (trust me, he is hard to catch). For this project I chose Pinkfresh Studio’s “Life Noted” and “The Mix #1” collections. A hand stitched large title became the focus of this page.
- DARLING
You can say, I love large bold floral designs. I love to fussy cut the images to create layouts with them. In this case, the large floral paper from American Crafts’s “Hazelwood” collection was perfect to document a picture of my sister and my niece.
- SNOW CUTE
My last project of this month highlights the beautiful “Winter Wonderland” collection from Simple Stories. A large snowflake image (created with a cut file from The Cut Shoppe. The design of the page is simple, but with lots of details around.
I hope you can draw inspiration from this group of layouts for your personal projects. Remember to stop by the Scrapbook Nerd store to check what the ladies are bringing in.
If you have any questions on how any of the pages came together, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Till next time!
