Good morning,
Another week gone by, and I had fun sharing my new projects with you. This week I was successful in getting away from only using white cardstock as my backgrounds – in three of four layouts, I used coloured cardstock and/or patterned paper.
-
Winter Wonderland – I used the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa collection to document my kids and their friends outdoor adventures.
-
Pirate Loot – In this layout about my son’s mystery mail delivering treasure, I enjoyed pulling out the more masculine pieces of the Hazelwood collection. Also, I posted a tutorial here on the blog about using the new A/C Thickers Alignment Guides to created an arched title.
-
Dog-Gone Cute – We have a new puppy, named Wrigley. Wrigley went for his first grooming last month and it was cuteness overload when he came back all brushed out and sporting a bowtie. In this layout, I used the Hazelwood collection and created a title on my Cameo which I then stitched and watercolored.
-
Darling Boy with the Sweet Bowtie – Yes, I sometimes do multiple layouts of the same subject. Wrigley’s grooming photos warranted a second layout, and this one looks quite different using the bright and bold colours of the Cool Kid collection, and a fun and varied title.
Thanks for looking, and hope you are enjoying a lot of fun creative time!
