Paige’s Friday Recap

Hello everyone!

Hope you are planning to join in on some creative fun on Saturday to celebrate (inter)National Scrapbooking Day! I am gearing up to attend the Scrapbook Nerd crop and busy making kits and printing photos.

Here are some of the projects I have shared this week:

1. Friendship: I used a cut file from Scrapbook and Cards Magazine, and papers and embellishments from the OneCanoeTwo Hazelwood collection in this project. I was inspired by a line on one of the papers that said “Allow hard times to reveal true friends.”
   
2. Life is Lovely: I fussy cut this beautiful floral paper from Hazelwood to highlight my photo of the sunrise walk I took with my puppy.
   
3. Lucky in Love mini-album: After completing many layouts with this lovely Hazelwood collection, I still had plenty of papers and embellishments left. I decided to make a mini-album for my sister. She sent me photos and some journalling, and I put together an album full of tags, flaps and inserts.

4. Lastly, I completed a layout using mostly the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection. I loved the bright colours that pulled out the bright colours in my photo.
