Sharing my December Daily 2016 Album

Hello Everyone,
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. We are all now getting back into the swing of our regular routines, but I wanted to take time to share the December Daily album I recently finished. I have done this project for several years and am always pleased to have done it.
I purchased the album and one of the mini-kits from Ali Edwards, and then supplemented with materials from my stash. I love the thick 2.5″ spine on the album which allows all my pages to be contained.
I started the album with a page outlining the reasons why I do it.
I loved using a large 6×8 photo to capture a new tradition we created this year, and then I used a glassine bag to put all the slips with our random acts of kindness.
Most years, I take time to write about the blessings in my life. This year I chose 5 (on day 5) and put them in a pocket envelope.
Inspired by Jen Schow, I decided to include the cut from our tree. So fun!
Do you ever want to document a story, but you don’t have any photos? This happened to me when shenanigans erupted while we were all in the hottub. So I used a “not shown” stamp and documented the story in writing.
This year, I really enjoyed using the 2×2 pockets. On our anniversary, I went back through years of photos, and chose ones documenting milestones of our marriage.
I decided to do a recap of the month in the end, choosing highlights of our December.
