Stitch a Travel Map | Mari Clarke
Welcome back to the blog today! Today my post will focus on documenting travel photos. To start my project, I printed a map from the internet of a route we took for a vacation a few years back to Waterton Park in Alberta. Then I took some embroidery thread and did a back stitch along the route on the map.
The thread brings attention to that area of the map and the journaling I did on the layout tells the story of this travel adventure to Waterton.
I used products from the Crate Paper “Here and There” collection to embellish the layout. The 12×12 patterned paper is also from that collection. The photo and the map are the focal points of the layout.
Including the map and the stitching is a simple technique to add to any travel themed layout to help tell those travel stories you may want to document! Hope you were inspired by my post today to get those travel stories documented!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!
