Sunday Card Share #87 – Girl Squad

Hi there, Joy here and I’m sharing 3 cards with you for today’s card share.
This week I dug into the new Pebbles collection, Girl Squad. I really like the positive messages in this collection, the cute icons, and the die-cut pack has some awesome pieces for both scrapbooker and cardmakers.

My first card is all about the Choose Joy die-cut, I embellished the floral wreath with some Nuvo drops before adding it to the pretty floral paper. The glitter strip at the bottom is a piece of American Crafts glitter paper.  I hope you can see the Nuvo drops in the detail photo below.

Card number two has some of those cute girl icons I spoke about and another ephemera die-cut. This card came together quickly using scraps from the first card.

I added a doodle border around the die-cut and used the leftover piece of glitter paper from the first card to add some ‘shine’ to this card. I’m not sure if you can see the Wink of Stella I added to the word shine but it looks pretty cool in person. 

These days I’ve been liking a little border around the outside of my cards, a little space that makes an impact. I think it makes things pop and it ties things together with a bit more white.

Card 3 features another die-cut from the ephemera pack. This 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch card has a few layered pattern papers and some more Nuvo drops. I used some plain white paper and a stitched circle die from Lawn Fawn for a resting spot for the sentiment and floral piece. 

I have some more cards using the Girl Squad collection but I’m going to save those for another post. Happy Sunday everyone.
