This Week in Review

The creative team at Scrapbook Nerd has been having fun creating some very cool projects for this week’s team round up!

Gisele created this colorful 12×12 layout using the Jillibean Soup “Farmhouse Stew” collection. Gisele has used a variety of papers from the collection to create multiple offset horizontal layers behind her photo.  The embellishments from the collection are placed in clusters around the photo.  This is just gorgeous!

Nathalie created this page using One Canoe 2 “Creekside” collection. To bring color into the page, she added some mixed media using Prima Marketing’s Odyssey palette, and a wood grain stamp from Kaisercraft. The picture of Nathalie’s niece is nicely accented by all the fussy cut flowers from the collection, and a few of the collection’s embellishments.

Mari created this fun A2 sized, side folding card using the My Favorite Things “Canine Capers” stamp set.  The background sky and grass were created using Distress Oxide inks.  The puppies were stamped using Eclipse masking paper.  Colored pencils were used to add color to the little critters.  This is such a sweet card!

Mari also created this 12×12 layout using Distress Oxides as a background on Bazzil Marshmallow cardstock.  The Dear Lizzy “Stay Colorful” collection was used to create the clusters, photo mat and fussy cut flowers.
