Hello Everyone! Welcome back to another Scrapbook Nerd Tutorial Tuesday.
As you can tell by my last couple of tutorials and my latest projects, I’ve been just a tad obsessed with foil. I still love being able to touches of foil to my projects and am having a great time experimenting with the different Therm O Web Deco Foil products.
This week, I’ve been playing around with the liquid adhesive and using it to add accents to printed images on the patterned paper. So, I thought I would do a quick tutorial on how I did this.
Here’s my finished project. I’ve added touches of foil to the flowers and the berries.
I started out with the Simple Stories We Are Family patterned paper. I chose a paper that had a bit of “shading” that I could use as my guide.
Taking the liquid adhesive, I applied it to the “shaded” areas of the flowers and to the berries.
Once the liquid adhesive was dry (I sped up the process using my blow dryer) I simply applied the foil to the adhesive – turquois to the flowers, and red to the berries.
I loved the end result and how it just added a touch of foil to my background paper.
If you haven’t tried using any of the wonderful foiling products out there, yet, you really need to. Just be careful, because it’s very addicting!
Thanks for looking. Have a great crafty week everyone!
