Crate Paper Confetti collection with Joy

Hello friends,
My projects this week were inspired by some old photos from my mother’s side of our family. These photos are from the late 1930’s we think. My grandmother and her friends and the location is unknown. I wanted the papers to support the time period of the photos and I knew that Crate Paper would be a perfect fit.
The florals and distressed papers work so well and you can find those in all of the Crate Paper collections.

This butterfly is from the hardware embellishment pack & I used my old typewriter for my journaling.
I’m not normally drawn to the floral background in this next layout but it’s perfect!

These muslin bags were fun to make. I used the stencil included in the kit, paint & mist to create the circle background, and a few die cuts from the ephemera pack. I attached everything with the tiny attacher staples, glue dots or pop dots.
