I wanted to create today’s card with a lot of layers, so I chose five papers from the Maggie Holmes Bloom 6×6 paper pad. One of the things I love about working within one collection is that I don’t have to worry about the papers coordinating, that’s all been taken care of.
Using some of the puffy stickers from the same collection, I added the hello sticker and the dear. At that point the card was looking a bit washed so I added some gesso to the bow paper and added a little pink gelato with some water. That wasn’t enough for my liking so I mounted the bottom layers to black cardstock and outlined the paper pieces. the last thing I added before adhering the layers was some black india ink splatters.
