Card Making Design Team projects general Inspiration Layout sketches Nerd Girl Digest Scrapbooking ScrapbookNerd Sketches weekly inspiration
Hello scrappy nerds, it’s Friday, Gisele here to give you a wrap-up of our Scrapbook Nerd week. It was Canada’s Thanksgiving here on Monday, so a short week for those working.
Lots to talk about: I posted a tutorial on Tuesday about a card I designed: Endless Possibilities.
Here’s the card:
I used the Simple Stories Vintage Blessings to create the card. It was designed to push yourself to alter or add to your project, the possibilities are endless.
The other design team members have also been busy designing some amazing work for you with the following.
First off was Nathalie DeSousa creating this gem:
This layout was created using the Family & Co. collection from Fancy Pants Designs, and the Trendy Trellis cut file from the Cut Shoppe. It was her ode to Fall and all its colours.
Next up, Milena Woodiwiss was grateful for fall with this LO and sketch:
The background paper is Chic Tags. Cardstock is American Crafts. All other paper and embellishments are Amber Moon by Prima. Fonts are American Typewriter and Bebas.
Barbara Clayton created 2 cards:
1st card: She used some of her left-over bits and created some Fall cards. Using the One Canoe Two Creekside collection, I’ve fussy-cut some of the images from the patterned papers and used them to accent this gorgeous tag!
2nd card: For this card, she pulled out her Stitch Happy sewing machine, from We R Memory Keepers, and sewed around the edges of the card. Then she did some more fussy-cutting to add some embellishments.
Hope we have inspired your week and that you create some great scrappy projects. Until next time, have a great scrappy day
