Scrapbook Nerd Creative Team Weekly Digest

Hello all you Nerds!  We are at the end of our kick-off week for the new Scrapbook Nerd Creative Team. We hope that you’ve been inspired so far.

Gisèle Julien

Gisèle has been playing with the Echo Park Go.See.Explore collection and created this fabulous layout of her travels from this past summer when she took an Alaskan Cruise. She is not afraid of colour and the result is this eye-catching layout!

For this project she used Echo Park GO.SEE.EXPLORE 6X6 paper pad and enamel shapes, Simple Stories (SNAP) stickers, jellybean word sticker (Wednesday), American Crafts Thickers (Subway), CTMY cardstock (outdoor denim) unknown background paper, enamel dots, chipboard, twine, re and yellow tags.

Nathalie is also documenting her travels from this past summer when she took a trip to her native Ecuador.  She stepped out of her comfort zone to hand from the edge of a bridge – just to get this amazing photograph!

I have also used the 1Canoe2 Creekside collection for my layout this week, which was featured in the tutorial from earlier this week. I have to say that I am in LOVE with this collection.  It is great for outdoors, travel, Fall, everyday – you name it!

I also got to play with my We R Memory Keepers Stitch Happy sewing machine to create the trees on this layout.
