Card Making Distress Inks Heat embossing Inspiration Studio Katia Sunday Card Share
Hello crafty friends,
Today I want to share a bright & cheerful card with you using the new Studio Katia Mandala stamp. This stamp is so versatile and is great for colouring with alcohol markers, watercolour products and distress inks.
I started by heat embossing the Mandala with white embossing power on 110lb smooth white cardstock. Then using the mini blending tool I added 3 colours of distress ink; Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feather & Picked Raspberry. I blended the flowers first followed by the pink background.
Once everything was dry, I splattered some plain water onto the pink area, let it sit, and then pressed a paper towel on top to pick up the excess water. Love this look.
I finished off the card by mounting it onto a black card base and heat embossing the sentiment with the same white embossing power. Thank you for stopping by the SN blog today, I hope you found some inspiration. See you next time.
