Creative Team Projects This Week: Color Inspiration

Hey Everyone, welcome to the blog today!  The Scrapbook Nerd Creative Team (SNCT) has been working on a bunch of fun projects this week with a gorgeous color palette as inspiration.

There are so many possibilities with these lovely colors…so summery!

The first project was created by SNCT member, Mari Clarke.

Mari created this layout using the color challenge inspiration this week and the PinkFresh “Let Your Heart Decide” collection.

Using Distress Oxide Inks as a base on Bazzill Marshmallow card stock (with the packaging technique), Mari created a vertical design.

Using the Rugged Edge (IndigoBlu) stamp and some Archival Ink, a bit of detail was stamped over the inks. The map was printed on plain vellum and used as an overlay over the (hidden) journaling. Bits of paper and ephemera/stickers are from the Pink Fresh collection.

Next up, we have SNCT member, Nathalie Desousa!

Nathalie’s page was inspired by this week’s color challenge, as well,  to document a memory of her daughter on their latest family vacation to Ecuador.

She used the teals and blues to create the background for this page. She then used a bit of gesso and a Kaisercraft stencil to add texture to the background.

Echo Park’s Good Day Sunshine collection was used to embellish the page. Her title was created using a sticker and some brads from the collection.

SNCT member, Gisele Julien, created some fun cards this week!

This card above was created with a cut apart card from the Simple Stories “Hello Summer” collection. Gisele hand stiched around the sun and some of the clouds. Also from the collection are the stickers that were popped up with foam to give them dimension. To complete the card some enamel dots from her stash. This card screams summer!

This second card is also just adorable!

This card was created with Doodebug Design 6×6 pape pad “Hello” and the Odds and Ends pieces (the yellow bird, typewriter and feather). The typewriter was popped up with foam.

The card above was also created with Doodlebug “Hello”. Gisele added a diecut stamped bird and some enamel dots from her stash to complete this card.
