Scrapbook Nerd Creative Team Weekly Digest
Design Team projects general Scrapbooking ScrapbookNerd Sketches sketches
The Creative Team has been busy this week creating many beautiful and awe inspiring projects.
We start off with Mari who created a lovely assortment of holiday cards to share. She makes me realize the holiday season is just around the corner!
On this one she used the Lawn Fawn Village Border die, the Lawn Fawn Merry Messages sentiments stamp and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders on this card. The sentiment is heat embossed using Versamark Ink.
This card was created using the Lawn Fawn Winter Village stamps and dies, Lawn Fawn rectangle stackable die, Lawn Fawn Knit Picky 6×6 pad, Distress Oxide Ink in Salty Ocean, Prismacolor Colored Pencils, Wink of Stella, Nuvo Drops in glossy white, Glossy Accents, Versamark Ink and black embossing powder.
This card was created using the My Mind’s Eye Oh What Fun collection. She used the 6×6 paper pad, the Mixed Bag ephemera pack and a puffy sticker to create the card.
The colour and detail in these cards is just gorgeous.
Gisele was busy this week making another fabulous fall themed layout.
I love all her layering on this one. She used a Silhouette cut file pumpkin and the collection from Simple Stories simple set “Happy Haunting”. She thinks the fox, is from Pink Paislee. Leaves are from Recollection (from her stash). Alphas are AC thickers “Wonder”. She also added Nuvo drops in Ripened Pumpkin and hand stitching with green floss.
Nathalie’s use of mixed media brings out all the details in the papers from Pinkfresh Studio’s Escape the Ordinary collection. The triangles are perfect to recreate a mountain scene, just like in the picture of her daughter and cousin at about 4100m above sea level in Ecuador .
As always her use of mixed media is stunning.
And I brought you yet another new sketch and, hopefully, a creative way to get the most out of your sketches.
Thanks for checking in everyone. I hope you all have a fantastic and creative weekend.
