THIS WEEK … DAILY ROUTINE/DAILY LIFE
Bella Blvd. Crate Paper Design Team projects Echo Park Free cut files Inspiration Mixed Media Paige Evans Scrapbooking Tips & Tutorials Vicki Boutin
Hello, Gisele here bringing you the design team’s projects for this week. Lots going on this week, but our theme was daily routine/daily life. So let’s check it out shall we.
Mari’s everyday life thematic layout is about time she spends with family! Mari applied some Vicki Boutin Gesso to some patterned paper. Then she tore the paper in half and adhered it to some Bazzil Marshmallow card stock. Just under the torn paper, Mari added some texture paste through a Crafter’s Workshop stencil. Using a dry, flat paint brush, she dry brushed some Vicki Boutin acrylic paint in blue, pink and yellow onto the paper. Mari chose a Crate Paper collection from Maggie Holmes to embellish her layout. If you want to try this, there are so many beautiful mediums, paper and embellishments in the shop for this project! Mari has a video of this project on her YouTube channel if you would like to see all of the details.

A peak at her texture and mixed media:
Nathalie created this project that celebrates an everyday moment of her son’s life. She used a combination of Paige Evans collections ( Turn the Page, Pick Me Up, Take Me Away, Oh My Heart) to create this page. The title was created using a cut file from JustNick Studio. The background was built using Distress Oxides, a Kaisercraft stencil and Pink Paislee’s Turn the Page collection stamp. All the embellishments come from all the collections and also the Paige Evans sticker book. Love the color blocking in this starry page.
Mixed media is beautiful:

This week’s sketch features a single 2×3 photo. Milena’s page example uses Bella Blvd’s Pop Quiz collection. Such a fun sketch. Maybe you could try it in our online crop this weekend in our Facebook group.
Yup, school has started up again, great way to showcase that.
